A small multiplex for Reel Cinemas in Dubai, designed with a unique industrial feel, distinct from our usual approach for Reel Cinemas.

We were tasked with designing a large, high-quality multiplex within an existing mall space, where challenging column spacing added complexity to the design process. Structural restrictions prevented us from removing any existing elements, yet the client requested a specific number of screens. Additionally, this multiplex needed to be more cost-effective than the previous one in the Dubai Mall, while retaining a similar feel.

Despite these constraints, we successfully delivered a multiplex with 15 screens, including 2 Dolby, 3 Platinum, and 2 children’s screens. We also designed for future expansion, including both indoor and outdoor function areas. The cinema was completed in 2022.
